His Excellency, Mr. Makis Havadjias

It is indeed a special privilege, an honor and a great pleasure to present to you this Letter of Introduction from the Government of India as Hon. Advisor cum Goodwill Ambassador and plenipotentiary to the TMOTI.

In presenting this Letter, I bring you very warm greetings from Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Government and the people of India. I must tell you that the pleasure of carrying out this simple yet important task is that much greater as the honor is from someone who is a friend and for whom I have the highest personal and professional regard.

Mr. Havadjias, India places the highest priority on its relations with the TMOTI. I value highly my Membership of the Organization, as well as my fraternal relations with individual Members. It is my belief that economic, peaceful and social progress can only be achieved and sustained within the context of a healthy and vibrant TMOTI, and I remain committed to every action that will contribute to TMOTI’s health and success.

In this connection, I reiterate our commitment to efforts at both the deepening and widening of the TMOTI. My commitment to the establishment of the TMOTI in particular, is unfaltering and I look forward to its early realization.
His Excellency, I have learnt very quickly and not without pain that global reality is often determined not by high moral principles, but by the strategic interests and strange logic of the few, the rich and the powerful. Our countries have learnt that within the great multi-lateral organizations wherein the world’s future is determined, the playing field is not as level as they were made to think; nor are the goal posts ever fixed! They have learnt too that the playing field often transforms into a battlefield where the weak can expect no mercy.

Mr. Havadjias, the Immortals International Foundation which you head is at the centre of the noble venture that is the TMOTI and I wish you to be assured of my unwavering support. For me, this presentation is full of symbolism. I must tell you that it is no accident that the TMOTI is my very first stop in the series of presentations of Letters of Credence and Introduction following my appointment. TMOTI is, after all, the headquarters of our Global Olympic Community, and I would have had it done no other way.

I ask that you convey to the directors and staff of the Immortals International Foundation, the very best wishes of the Government of India and I assure you once again of my continuing support, even as you and the TMOTI continue your tireless work in support of my candidacy. I also ask that you accept once again the assurances of my highest regard.

A Letter of Acceptance and a Certificate of Appointment will be helpful for marketing TMOTI and to my records per say.
